Thank you for taking the
time to visit the "BigGameLodge.com" On-Line Hunting and Gaming Club
page, Selected by Atari as the “Official Site For Deer Hunter
2005”.BigGameLodge.com was created by OneshotChris right after
Trophy Hunter 2003 came out. The site was originally intended to
host maps made by us. As time went by we added some staff members to
help out and then a forum, then finally encompassed it all into one
site. That is what you see here now. This web site is intended to
give each of you a place where you can come to download maps and
talk about your skills/techniques, Editor questions, and just plain
old chat.
We hope that this site
provides you all some good resources, and we have more in store in
the coming months. Just sit back and watch the changes. Thank you
all for being a part of BGL. Some of the areas you can enter with
out registration. Others like the downloads, you will need to
register an account. We hope this web site gives you the tools and
information you need to be a successful on-line deer hunter and
sportsman.
If you are having trouble with
registration, please check to make sure that your email is not blocking the
biggamelodge.com emails. Some ISP (Internet Service Providers) May See The Email
As Spam And Move It To A Spam Folder. If that is not the problem and you still
have trouble, please send an email to staff@biggamelodge.com and we will get you taken care of.

 If anyone knows someone who can provide professional-level outdoor sound recordings and has a large base of them available, I'm currently evaluating different options for sound work.
The legal stuff:
What I want is lifetime, royalty-free, nonexclusive rights to the sounds. i.e. I pay a one-time fee and can then use them in all future products with no further payment. The provider retains their rights to sell them to whoever else they want (as long as that sale doesn't infringe on our rights to continue using them). Our license would be limited to using them in video games, and all assocaited rights to using them in those games (they might appear in advertising, demos, etc. - as used in the game).
I can get most of what I need stock for $2-$5 a pop for the same rights I describe above, but I would be willing to pay a bit more if the sound quality/variety warrants it.
So, if those terms are interesting to anyone, I'll be looking for the following:
- Animal sounds
- Weapon sounds (shooting/striking/loading)
- Ambient sounds
I'm only interested if the seller is able to provide a large number of these sounds. I'm not interested in working out a contract with someone just to buy a few sounds.
Beyond the licensing payment, I can offer credit in the game for providing sounds (see our past games for examples), and the seller will be able to say "sounds used in game x" for marketing purposes after the launch of each title.
If anyone is interested and capable, please send me a PM with credentials. If I'm interested, I'll ask for some samples.

| In case some of you just stopping by to download maps for deer hunter 2005 havent noticed. Hot topics are brewing in the forums for maybe a future game. So stop in the forums and let your voice be heard.

 If you are having problems login in. Close all your browser windows and clear your cookies. BGL has been upgraded from one squirrel to 4 squirrels. To better suit the community needs. So grab a Beer (adults only) and lemonade (everyone else) and dust off DH 05 and enjoy some of your old time favorite maps. Or try some that you never played. Oh and yes tourneys for Trophy Hunter and Deer Hunter will get going again.
